June 28, 2020 – Message from Reverend(s) Glenn and Heather

As most of you folks know, our Church is closed for the summer months of July and August. Both of us want to wish you all, the very best that the summer of 202 can offer.

Just know we are only a phone call away (204) 390-6609 or if an emergency (204) 338-5505. Do your best to be kind to yourself and others. Our world is in dire need of your kindness and positive thoughts. For each picture of misery you see, just know there are many stills of wonder and grandeur that you can find when you look for the positive.

Remember the proof provided by quantum theories that have shown positive thoughts are hundreds of times stronger than negative ones. You have the ability to change your world if you choose to do so. Nothing is beyond what you can envision and imagine for yourself. The only thing standing in your way is you. Enjoy our beautiful Manitoba summer and remember to live fully one day at a time. Live the moment!

Hopefully September will have some form of normalcy, and life can start the Fall with a new norm, a better one at that! Take care and God Bless each and every one of you. We will see you then!

A hearty and wonderful greeting to all Father’s on this very special day! So many ways to say Father. Dad, Daddy, Poppo, Papa, and all nationalities with their Father pronunciations. There are Step-Fathers, Grandfathers, old Fathers and young Fathers. There are those whose children are not of the same familial bloodline, who love and treat those children so very lovingly and who consider these children as their own! Hats off to these wonderful men!

There is a saying, “Anyone can be a Father, but it takes a special man to be a Dad!” For those lucky and loved children who have men in their lives such as these….well you are well respected and looked up to. When we were children, we used to say to our parents, “There is Father’s Day, Mother’s Day… when is it Children’s Day?” The inevitable answer from our parents was “Every day is Children’s Day!”

Father’s Day is the one day of the year, a special tribute is made (and rightly so) to these very special men. So many times Father’s are taken for granted. Children sometimes don’t know or even realize what personal sacrifices are made by these amazing men. All the incredible things Father’s do for their families are done, so willingly! Today we celebrate you! May God Bless each and every one of you today and always!

Hello Folks! There are so many ways to pray and a multitude of prayers that have been created over the centuries by every religion throughout the world. It is a way people worship God, talk to God, ask for answers, look for ways of living that will bring health, wealth and happiness.

The situation our world finds itself in with regards to the Pandemic has many, many people world-wide looking up to the sky and asking, praying for an end to this scourge. Many folks feel deeply as their lives have changed and not always for the better.

We say that prayer is asking God and meditation is listening to God. People don’t always know the way of prayer, don’t always know how to start and are wondering if there is a format. It is not a matter of how you fold your hands or even if you fold your hands at all. Sometimes you can just “feel” a prayer, standing in nature looking up to the blue, blue of the summer sky, opening your arms, spreading hands and fingers and feeling the joy in your whole body, heart, mind and soul.

We have a prayer we open our Service with, and it is beautiful, with great meaning. Just pray.

Oh Creator of All, permeating the entire Universe. Honour and Glory to You.
Your Divine Love pervades, is within and blesses all. Your Natural Law guides on the physical and Spiritual planes. Your Grace and Spiritual energy sustain us abundance prevails. All life is growth, so we judge not ourselves or others. Lead us on our paths, inspire us, and heal us with your White Light, Life and Love are continuous, For all is God and Perfection. Amen!
